Here are Tuesday's drive-thru and take-out specials that I am aware of.
Popeye's has
two pieces of chicken (dark) for for $1.49. Chicken only.
Nine pieces mixed or tenders for $8.99.
And I think it is a nine piece dark for $5.99 or $6.99.
Taco Casa has crunchy & soft tacos and bean burritoes for $.99 each.

Most of those places are locally owned. Only a small percentage goes to the corporation.
ETA your average fast food location is employing wayyy more people and paying way more in taxes than the “local” restaurant.

I've pretty much stopped buying from any restaurant chains during this BS. I didn't do much of it before, but the pain that I'm seeing on the faces of my friends who own small places kills me.
I've also changed more on a lot of the not restaurant big companies (banks and stores mostly).
Capital One fcked over several people I know. I'm going to move all of my personal bank accounts to a smaller local bank.
The damn Popeyes by my house is printing money. The drive thru lines have been almost as long as when the chicken sandwich craze was happening.

yeah, my bad. I'm pretty sure it is only in Texas. It's by my Sonic.
Pretty small menu and way overpriced but they have sales every day that make it a lot more reasonable than Taco Bell.
I think their food is closer in quality to Taco Bueno in Dallas.

The Tuesday deal that cant be beat is @ off the hook,if you have one near you, the $3.99 chicken tenders basket is the best. Big tenders,lots of fries,hush puppies & sauce.
