frick that state. Everything is shitty outside of the hill country and the F1 track.
Houston: concrete shitty jungle
Dallas: used to be cool. Sucks now.
Eastern Gulf Coast: nasty
Corpus: Trashy
Mexican Border: War Zone
El Paso: Awesome. Just kidding. SHITTY.
West Texas: shitty oil towns
Schlitterbahn: trashy
Galveston: trashy
San Antonio: ghetto outside the Riverwalk.
Also:
Crappy "Cajun" food
Illegals everywhere
All those cheap houses everyone brags about: cookie cutter homes built very cheaply

Texas is too hot for me and I couldn't care less about their Texmex culture.

I moved to Houston on for a job post grad from LSU.
I'd like to thank LA tax payers for allowing me to graduate with no loans thru TOPS.
I'd also like to thank Houston for offering me a job with a 20% higher rate of pay than LA. along with but not limited to 0 state taxes, no SWB as mayor, and more shite to do on a weekend than there was in a month in BR.
that being said BR will always be home. I'll look sadly upon you as you slowly burn.

I'm living in Dallas right now and it's 100 times better than BR or NOLA. The only thing they don't have is good Cajun food or LSU sports. There's no fricking fat people here, far less crime, and everything is upscale
