Nope. it can be in a joint account. separate property can lose that character when "comingled with community property."

also, the community property regime does not terminate at separation. it terminates retroactive to the date of filing the petition in which the divorce was granted.

And if you have sex after separation it's considered reconciliation and delays all divorce proceedings, but not in my case for whatever reason....but she also screwed a few dudes during our separation, which is why she never asked for alimony and why I really came closer to 70/30 ahead plus future earnings less her big spending....I'm planning on posting from the Sony Open next year....

Don't know, that is an attorney question...alimony is probably affairs and/or physical abuse, I guess...

Men getting it up the arse over divorce in this state is stupid....women are pretty damn stupid, so go for more than 50/50 and you will be surprised how it works out in your favor.
