Does that portion of the interstate have a lot of traffic this early in the morning? I wouldn't think so, so how on earth does one get into an accident?

Shocking that you are on the North side of BR.

Maybe it is because I don't frequent other like sites but do accidents in other cities result in such close downs as it seems to do in BR and nearby areas?

In Texas for the most part Tollways and Interstates inside city limits have service roads that run parallel. So like this morning there was an accident on the DNT service road (parkway) they just made everyone get on the DNT at the first on ramp.

BR needs to get their shite together.

Have an upvote because someone downvoted helpful info.

Not sure what road people think commuters from Zachary take. I'd rather take i110 over plank... Probably because I work downtown though...

You don't have to live in NBR to use 110 south.
Have you ever heard of Zachary or St Francisville?

There aren't many Baws in north Baton Rouge, mostly just Homebaws up there.

Yep, accidents on the main interstate running through most cities tends to slow down things

and? If the interstate gets shut down there is still gridlock on the access roads.

Anyone who thinks the BR area of I10 is the only part of I10 that has accidents will completely shut it down are complete morons...hell 50 miles west wrecks close 10 more often and for longer periods.

don't know about in LA, but usually if they shut down traffic completely where I live due to an accident it is because of a spill or someone died.

Loops start with an even number, spurs start with an odd number.
