With Tyson not for a million.

I'd go a round with Floyd for 10,000

It's not that I don't think he COULD do that. Mayweather, for all his faults as a person, is probably one of the smartest fighters in the ring in history. The guy just wins fights.

But...he's not all that interested in being in a fight. He's unlocked the code and it does not require him to throw a ton of hard punches or allow him to get hit. He just scores a ton.

I think there's no doubt he could have been a tremendously successful fighter even if he had decided at some point to stand in the middle of the ring and REALLY mix it up. He's just too good to not be able to do that. He just decided a long while ago that tactically it was unnecessary to do all that.

So...could he do that? Sure. But there's nothing in his resume that would indicate that he'd put himself in any position to get hurt, which would preclude him from throwing a ton of damaging punches at anyone.

Not to mention...I could put that guy in my pocket. He's wee...

I'd be too busy chasing Floyd's running arse for Tyson to get a clear shot on me. Besides, he's be too busy chewing on Evander's other ear.

shite. He would eventually knock me out just from me getting tired and a accumulation of punches. Highly doubt he is knocking me out inside of a few rounds before punches start accumulating and I get tired.

I mean hell, I've got 50 lbs on him and 5-6 inches. This isn't MMA. I can stand there and take punches from a little bitty dude with gloves on for a while.

It cracks me up how some of you build up these boxers and MMA fighters like they are gods walking among men.

Mayweather could beat me in a boxing match 10 times out of 10. He would beat me in a single round match 10 times out of 10.

He's got a strikers chance of knocking me out in 30 seconds, and that's about it. I would bet my livelihood that I could go 30 seconds with him on any day of the week and not get knocked out. I wouldn't be aggressive or engaging, but I can defend myself for 30 seconds against his strength and style. He's an amazing boxer, but he isn't exactly killing people in the ring. He out points them, which is fine.

Hell, for the purpose of this challenge, I'd be more afraid of getting knocked out by Manny.

I'd go a round with him for a cool mil. Hell, I'd go a round with him for 5k to be honest.

He could easily knock you out with one punch.

But he wouldn't kill you or detach your brain stem or something like a big heavyweight would.

Yes they are smaller and physics limit them, but he would drop you like a sack of hammers in round 1 most likely.

Another thing about this scenario, NO ONE is landing a punch on the dude. It'd be hilarious to watch people try though

One round? Sure, I mean what's the worst that could happen? Most healthy people could quickly learn enough about boxing so they literally don't die in the ring.

They wouldnt need to punch hard enough to kill you, just knock your arse out. A professional boxer is too fast for the average person.

Of course. I can play defense and keep distance with jabs for 3 minutes.

He would knock me out in the first round, but I'll take a headache for 1 mill. If I break my teeth, some of that money will cover a new grill.

Floyd loves money.

I'd offer him 100 k to stand there for 3 min and then take the 900 k. Easy money for both of us.

Oh please. Going 30 seconds against a 150 pound little man with gloves on isn't shite. I haven't fought anyone that small since junior high. But I've taken bare knuckle punches from someone twice his weight.

Don't pretend Floyd is some super hero

I think people are underestimating how hard even the little guys like Mayweather and Paq punch.

ETA: With that said, I'd get in the ring, but I'm getting knocked out in less than 30 seconds for sure.

No.

All of you would take dozens and dozens of direct hits. No one in here is fast enough to dodge anything thrown from Mayweather. It would be like us boxing a blindfolded person. They are on another level of speed and Mayweather is the fastest of them all.

He'd knock out just about everyone on the OT in round 1. However, he won't kill you so you'd be fine and would be 1 million richer.

This is completely different than the Tyson question.

Mayweather would whip me, but I wouldn't fear for my life, so yes, for a million, I'd get beat up by Mayweather.

Dude weighs 140lbs. He's not bringing the same load Tyson would. I'd rather get hit 5 times square TODAY by Mayweather than get hit square by Tyson's old arse ONCE today.

In fact, I think I'd probably rather get hit by Floyd 25 times over getting hit once by Tyson.
