These are college kids appealing to the tastebuds of a post-bar college crowd. They don't want fresh cut fries and interesting ingredients. They are going to want familiar shite to eat quick and that's cheap.

This is fine, but embrace that you are making drunk food instead of "gourmet fry baskets."

They sound like any old fries with a handful of Sysco shredded cheese dumped on top

Quit crying.

If I were 19-20 years old again in tiger land I am not going to care how the fries were prepared and neither would you.

Adding a tossed salad to the menu???

I can't believe I didn't think of that. They should definitely have a tossed salad and call it the JL special.

I know how they can cut down on costs...

They make chili cheese fries. College kids like them. Drunk college kids love them.

They sell them where the drunk college kids are. Brilliant. What food items will be added to the menu?

Who has to get paid for them to set up wherever they are? Rent, electricity, water, licensing, kickbacks, etc. are not cheap. Can anyone tell me where they physically are?

No relation.

Will these girls expand to Jalapeno poppers and cheese fries? Will others then complain that they did not grow the jalapenos themselves, or own dairy cows?

They are kids trying a new business. It seems like a good idea. It will keep them focused and out of the bars.

I hope they are successful and that nobody from Gardere comes up and steals their trailer.

But would hand cut fries, with fresh cut veggies and homemade chili and or other toppings be a little more notable?

Would it increase sales enough to justify the additional time/cost?

So this is exactly what the guy who opened Barcadia in Nola used to do in the parking lot of Bogies?

Very brave and courageous.
