Well this explains things... This is the third one of these I can remember in the last two years in Baton Rouge. What is up with "playing with guns in cars" and shooting people on accident?

quote:

Baton Rouge police said Wednesday they have issued an arrest warrant for a man suspected of accidentally shooting a 19-year-old Hammond woman while she was driving on Florida Boulevard on Tuesday.

James Seymore, 20, of Ponchatoula, is wanted on counts of negligent homicide and illegal use of a weapon, Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L’Jean McKneely said in a news release.

Seymore was “playing with a hand gun” in the back seat of a vehicle and accidentally shot Briana Hornsby as she was driving in the 10900 block of Florida Boulevard, McKneely said

Just because they all have guns doesn't mean they are experts on guns. That's why we see so many people, who were not intended targets, getting shot.

You know how some people love to say "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes?"

Well, playing with guns is ALWAYS pretty stupid.
