It is 1000% contributed to the exercise, alcohol abstinence, & smaller portions. Ozempic is not a miracle drug. it just forces people to do shite they could have done on their own without paying $300/month. It forces people without will-power to not eat bad shite

It wont fix the facial issues that will occur.
People who take it are identifiable and as such, look unhealthy.
I also think if this is legal Steroids should be on the shelves.

that isnt the medicine
that is from losing the weight too fast which is from severe caloric deficit
i.e. lack of protein in the diet, little resistance training, and very low calories causing low output of sex hormones and igf-1
it happens to anyone that goes on the extreme caloric deficit with the medicine or without.
mainly stems from people jumping up in dosage too quickly.

Cutting drinking and adding exercise are wonderful, but it seemed odd to not give credit to the drug. I mean maybe they lost 5 lbs from the exercise and alcohol cessation
I quit drinking a couple years ago for 3 months and exercised. Lost over 30 pounds just from those 2 things. Luckily, I've been able to keep it off, but still need to shed a few more pounds.

but why do yall care how they did it?
got the ot complaining about fatties and girls with fat asses and no boobs daily....when people take medicine, workout or have surgery to fix these problems...the ot gets mad and essentially says they did it wrong and cheated
you are not competing with these people. you are not a pro athelte or a model so who gives a frick how they did it?
This. It baffles me how the OT will complain constantly about paying for the fatties health conditions but now that the fatties are doing something about it, with the end result being less strain (pun) on the medical help they need... the OT still complains because it wasn't done the right way by some dude who meal preps and whose entire life revolves around his gym relationships.

Well then its a side effect of taking the medicatoin as you arent losing the weight natrually as God intended. You are injecting something into your body to do the majority of your job.
It never ends well. You can spin it how you want, everything has negatives, especially when not used for the exact purpose of intention.
Again, steriods should be on the shelves if people can get this stuff.

This is because you hit on the one thing all of these fools wont even talk about, their actual drinking habits and their wives.
Most of these people on this shite drink and take on a lot of empty calories then want to cheat their way out of it.
When you have been pumping vodka, whiskey, beer, wine in your system 25 years and now want to lose weight you dont think there will be some consequences? Fools.

so because the FDA approved a new derivative of semaglutide (wegovy/zepbound) for weight loss you find this problematic? i'm not sure what we are splitting hairs with here; usually diabetes and obesity go hand-in-hand so this seems a natural evolution of this.

Why cant they just eat right and exercise and drink less alcohol?
This eliminates the drug completely from the books outside of those who need it.
Then these people will be helping in many areas. Less waste, less drugs they need to take, less anxiety, less money spend, etc.
Instead lets just inject this shite.
Drug addict behavior if I have ever seen it.

i'm confused; so all fatties are due to alocholism?
this seems like a very specific use case that you're harping on.
maybe you have an axe to grind w/ someone close to you with alcohol issues.

not really. if i decide to go on a starvation diet, would be the same results
as far as the injection...you are just resetting levels back to normal...not much difference than someone taking TRT if they dont produce testosterone.

i mean it is used for its purpose and it has way more positive side effects than negative

i have always said that. if people can get surgery, should be able to buy steroids off the shelf. or at least have what you want prescribed.

I have no problem with people taking it, to each their own.
I have a problem when something fricks up when yall complain. I dont like people who complain after doing something there were warning signs for.
Im just calling everyone who takes it a flat-out hypocrite if they opposed the vaccine, thats really my point. If any drug has any inkling of bad side effects you shouldnt take it is what anti vaxxers push but when something that helps them lose weight appears, they jump on it like a bitch in heat.

Alcohol causes people to get fat.
Many are fat because they take on the empty calories. These calories are meaningless. Every sip you are adding calories for no reason that dont need to be in your system.
Id rather you say, I cant stop drinking.
People who get diabetes cant drink or shouldnt drink.
Get it?

I do not have an axe to grind at all.
I do not like people complaining when you are making yourself a fricking fatass.

Just to be consistent then, you’re cool with the Covid vax then? Again, mRNA vaccines have been around for decades
