Moreno is going to go hard on the liberal agenda

White democrats work extra hard to earn their liberal stripes

Look at the damage done by Mitch.

Don't kick yourself too hard over it. It was always NOLA's destiny to elect a shittier mayor than Teedy. And the one after the next, shittier mayor will be even shittier than that.

In the end, it will be like the Mogadishu it's always been destined to become. If you live there, God help you if you haven't made a plan to get the frick out..

In a city like New Orleans where there is no money and even less competent service what does that mean?

A specific example?

I dont agree with about 90% of her shite, but what kind of damage is she going to do at this point?

Wat?

The 2021 New Orleans mayoral election was held on November 13, 2021, to elect the mayor of New Orleans, Louisiana.[1] Originally scheduled to be held on October 9, 2021, the election was delayed five weeks by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards following heavy damage in the city by Hurricane Ida.[1] A runoff was scheduled for December 11, 2021, but was ultimately unnecessary

I just forced you to spend 45 minutes on a Sunday for my pleasure.

I’m laughing at how naive you are and how you took the bait

Give me Thomas, Moreno is a murdering immigrant, it was bad enuff Teedy, who’s from Compton was elected, so Thomas had my vote. He’s a reflection of New Orleans.

Voting for Moreno. Teddy was the worst fricking mayor imaginable and Thomas is cut from the same cloth. I certainly don’t agree with her politically on many things but she has been reasonable and responsive as a councilman. Wish Joe Giarusso would run (he’s been a great councilman) but an overweight white guy has no shot in the city.

But but but some of you believed Moreno is the chosen one! She's a turd , with a puny preppy voting base. So yeah, she did coke frequently. I don't want someone as my mayor with that history. Its all you morons black or white who have completely screwed up the city. It ain't coming back.

I agree with the Katrina sentiment on her first election. I think she was reelected because of Covid. New Orleans is a major liberal city. She locked that place down for COVID and sadly the liberals lapped it up

Making hiring decisions based on gender and race

Who else are you going to have elected? Some conservative?

She’s the best option out there.

Honest question: what puts her head and shoulders above Royce, other than recognizability?

Experience.

Royce has zero experience in the city or the city government. Has no idea of where the problems are.

Royce said he doesnt think Latoya was in the wrong with how she was running things.

Royce believes the council should work for the mayor.

Royce hasn't laid out a single detailed thing he will do. Just the regular "Ill make.it better"

Moreno looks and sounds better than Cantrell and probably wouldn't be as combative. So there's that.

She has the same dumb liberal views though that have killed NO and other Democratic-run cities for a long time. She championed shady Jason Williams for DA. He was just lucky that he was slicker than everyone in his inner circle who ended up with convictions on tax fraud, etc. He got off and they all went down.

His DA policies were atrocious with running on a promise to never prosecute juveniles as adults. Crime was getting so bad and he was getting so unpopular that he started having a change of opinion. Then he was literally carjacked along with his elderly mother by teens and a brighter light came on for him. That's all it took. Unfortunate, but it ended up being a good thing for NO residents.
