Last time I flew I had the joy of sitting next to a girl and her 80lb service dog.

Most airlines don't allow this.

I generally pre-board (at the advisement of the airlines) and when my daughter and wife fly with me, they will allow my daughter to board with me but my wife boards by herself.

Upon arrival at the destination they are asked to wait last so the wheel chair can come get them. Miraculously the flight healed them and they get up and walk off the plane.

This absolutely 100%….I flew a great deal in my early career and fortunately I don’t have to as much anymore. After being on hundreds of flights over the past thirty years this “miraculous” recovery of all of their ailments has become quite the grift. Flying these days is just one tiny step above going to the bus station and traveling in that manner. Another observance the absolute sloppy and disheveled way people dress on planes. And don’t get me started those that don’t need to be dressing in tiny outfits or yoga pants but are. Oh I could go on and on…,flying here in the US these days is certainly a microcosm of society in general …unfortunately. Ok off the soapbox and I’ll show myself to the door !

Should be the new national motto. The policies in this country support the worst of human nature.

While on vacation earlier this year, I was overcome with pain in my leg due to synovial cyst between L4 and L5. I had to be wheeled thru airport, early boarding etc. I was horrified by this experience.

Yes, it’s a certain segment of the population that knows how to play the game.

Also, can you imagine if there was an ACTUAL audit and reform of the dual-disability social-security entitlement system?

The Cockroaches would be scurrying every-which-a-way.

Jetway Jesus is real. 22 wheelchairs leaving, zero needed once you get to Vegas.

In addition to Las Vegas, I would add Miami and Atlanta to those miraculous destinations.
