Haha everyone hates this correct answer

, pretty sure Floyd himself admitted to having $123 million in a bank account at one time. Let's not act like he's a modern Warren Buffet.

Where he's going to run into trouble is there is gonna come a day in the not too far future when people are not going to want to pay to see him anymore and that's going to be his down fall. No more "quick" money when his supply runs a little low.

Mayweather doesn't believe in banks or investments. All his net worth is in currency including foreign currency. The dude is nothing but liquid.

Mayweather has an aggressive accountant, he fights the IRS every year with regard to his tax debt, some of the time he comes out millions ahead.

quote:

He also had to pay off liens the IRS filed against him in 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2006

The agency filed a $6.17 million lien on Mayweather in 2008 for his 2007 taxes Mayweather ended up settling that for around $5 million

in 2011 the IRS said the fighter owed $3.4 million in taxes incurred in 2009 and due in 2010

Sounds like you are a bit misinformed about Mayweather. It's well documented that he is very liquid. ESPN wrote an article on him in 2013 where he bragged about only having one account, which was a bank account with $123 million in it.

that was only 250 K on the airplane table.

I mean a real baller doesnt flaunt cash like that, but if he did, it would be millions, not thousands.

(stack of 100's is 10K)

Yes, and the pic of him laying in money is all 1's. Even if you threw around 5,000 bills to make it looks really good, it's still only $5,000.

Floyd Mayweather owes 2015 federal taxes, asks for installment plan by bengalbait
I really can't believe how stupid these pro athletes are when it comes to finances. They act like their income is a bottomless well and spend accordingly. If I was the tax judge I'd force him to come up with the entire amount right away. Liquid or not he can make the payment one way or another. Maybe selling some of his "precious " shite will edjamacate him.

Non famous Rich people do dumb shite with their money everyday. We just don't hear about it

Yeah I laughed at the long term investments comment too. Mayweather will be broke too just like all the other athletes that insist on supporting a possee and flashing money .

How do you know that? He flashes his wealth just like other rich people do. Open your eyes

Mayweather is on a different level than most athletes. He makes a ridiculous amount of money. Making bad investments is probably the only way he would ever go broke.

But, there are bunch of idiots that keep paying for his pay-per-views giving that guy all kinds of money. People just need to quit watching that crap. Nobody deserves a hundred million dollars for dancing around a ring
