Florida News: Tiger(s) Roaming Streets of Manatee County

MYAKKA CITY (FOX 13) - Three tigers are apparently on the loose in Manatee County.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office confirms there are aerial and ground searches for the large cats happening near Crosby Road in Myakka City.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers are taking the lead on the investigation into how the tigers got out and where they might be.
At this point, it was unclear from where the tigers escaped. The first call about the loose tigers came in around 7 p.m.

I recall as a kid my dad saying that occurred when he was in school. later i figured i misunderstood or remembering wrong...cant believe people were dumb enough to do that
