I'll just leave this here. SIAP

quote:

Florida deputies chased a suspected drug dealer for a mile before he stopped, raised his arms, fell to his knees and laid himself facedown on the ground in an obvious attempt at surrender. The five Marion County deputies then hopped out of a truck and proceeded to beat him for 30 seconds; kneeing him, kicking him, punching him – all while yelling “stop resisting.”

chris rock said it best. "if you see red lights, stop immediately. if the cops got to come and get you, they're bringing an arse kicking with them."

They love to yell stop resisting while they gang up on someone. It's funny actually

Weren't the 5 cops all suspended without pay? I think one of the cops was charged as well.

Well he's about to get paid. If only the pigs were the ones who had to open up their wallets.

If they had to pay when they broke the law, as well as go to jail, these actions would stop with the quickness.

When they investigated themselves, did they find they did anything wrong?

Cop Law No. 1: If you're yelling "stop resisting," it makes it ok.

You probably think rape is part of the process for those jailed as well. Cops are supposed to arrest not beat alleged felons. The police are not doing themselves a favor by condoning these activities.

Of course there is right and wrong. But I have no sympathy for people that choose to live that lifestyle and sell poison.

Say you had a daughter that this "alleged" drug dealer sold heroin to and she had an overdose and died. Would you be so willing to persecute law enforcement for "roughing him up a bit" on the way to jail? You don't have to shed a tear, though, I'm sure the young man will live another day to beat the system and be up to his old ways in no time.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Drug dealers are trash, but that doesn't give cops free reign to assault them. Cops are not above the law, either.

I know, but in this particular circumstance I'd be willing to look the other way. Frick that guy.

Then you don't have a sense of right and wrong. You have a subjective sense, based on floating criteria.

I hope that's not Ryan Mallet in your avi.

We have a right to a fair trial in this country (as well as the presumption of innocence until proven guilty).

Not to have "justice" doled out by the arresting officers.
