I honestly hope he got high enough to see the curve then died knowing what a fool he was. I can see several pearly gate cartoons in my head. That would be a fine ironic ending to the idiot.

Parachute. However, it looks like this time it deployed on the launch and was blown away from craft by the rocket exhaust shortly after launch. Watch the beginning of the video and you can see it clearly.

I don't think he got above the hills in the background. Even if he did go high enough he'd just wonder how his windows managed to distort the flat earth into a curve.

If the chute had worked properly I'm sure he'd just be wheelchair bound instead of mashed potatoes.
