If he had any questions about the afterlife, now he knows.

Definitely no curvature at that low altitude. He died thinking he was right.

Also if you crank the volume up you can hear someone saying "Wooohoohoo" after the impact. Must be one of those deluded round earthers.

No greenhouse emissions and no fireball on impact. It's a much safer and more sustainable rocket than we've been using. He was a visionary.

I'm impressed it got high enough to have a dramatic crash landing. Apparently Mad Mike went out the way he lived.

I’m wondering if he wasn’t trying to bore through to the other side.

He struck the landing, a perfect 10.0

That’s an understatement.

Skydivers always pack a reserve chute and this yahoo figured he would just put one on his janky rocket and call it good?

After listening to this guy on YouTube it seems to be a fitting death.

There is a documentary movie on Amazon Prime about this guy. The title is Rocketman: Mad Mike’s Mission to Prove the Flat Earth

An earlier flight, and landing, left his balls black for a month.

Fail or sabotage? There were a lot of people who didn’t want him to bring back any evidence.

I think Evel Knievel tried to clear the snake river canyon in a similar conveyance. His chute deployed prematurely as well, but the results were not as bad with Evel surviving the fall.

RIP crazy dude.

That's the first thing I thought of after watching this clown make himself into a grease spot.

Evel's chute popped early but not as early as this guys. Looked like it was blown off by the steam jet whereas Evel's actually stayed attached and worked. The early release just prevented him from clearing the canyon.
