It did not say that he could see the switch or if it was digital, analog or based on blowing a fan over ice. It said he could see it blowing warm air.
The real story here is that this cop has thermal vision. What are the odds he was the one to get the call to this particular issue? He is the only one with this super power and happened to be the guy called out to see what the temp of the blowing air was.

Besides, a honkey can be any old white dude. A cracker is a particularly crazy breed of rednecks that are from Florida. They even have a Wikipedia page. But I'll also use it to describe the reddest of the rednecks.

I knew before seeing the pic, I agree with her that it was stupid for the arrest. Please, please, please, prevent this creatures genetic code from persisting in the gene pool! Her genes are definitely from the shallows.
ETA: Several newer model cars, in order to be most fuel efficient, the A/C only has the blower motor running and not the condenser (cooling part) when the engine idles. Can feel it at long traffic lights even.
