Fell asleep with my contacts in so I woke up and couldn't see for shite. I forgot to set my coffee pot to auto brew so I had to fumble around and wait on it to brew like some kind of caveman. Once it was done I poured it on to an upside down coffee cup. What a mess

Yikes. You really need coffee, huh?

He is pretty much a dog now. He would probably join ISIS if I let him.

I woke up to read the OT and immediately found a thread on guys doing cave circle jerks. This 1st world country needs a real crisis to help us all get perspective.

I don't know if I am just a freak of nature or what but I leave my contacts in 6-10 months at a time without taking them out. I literally forget I even have them. Been doing this for 20 years. They always come out just like I out them in that morning. Anyone else do this with no issues?

Just go back to bed... don't go outside... it'll only get worse. For the love of all that is holy, don't get into your vehicle today.

Depends on your contacts.

I can do this with extended wear ones. Part of the deal is that when they come out, I let my eyes rest for several days to a week before putting a new set in.

Apparently my eyes breathe well through the specific ones I use so I don’t have problems.

As opposed to having the regular ones that have to come out nightly where I became allergic to the solutions you put them in overnight and clean them with weekly.

Got some stray wild flowers growing in the yard. Too wet to run the zero turn just yet. Hoping the cold front next week will kill them off. Please pray for us

The disposable contacts I have now say you can leave them in for about a week at a time before cleaning. I basically leave mine in until I notice they are getting dry or I can feel something. When this happens I take them out and clean them then soak for a day then put them back in. I will then keep them in for another couple of weeks then throw away when I start feeling them again. Sometimes it will be damn near 3 weeks before I do anything. I used to barely take them out until it was necessary but that can’t be good for the eyes.
