So, you bought a fridge with shelves on the door, but no manner of restraining bar or barrier. Just free wheeling Bob Dylan?

No wonder your son doesnt respect you and puts the ketchup back however the frick he feels.

There is no doubt you are right. But, I also think that if I did that he would probably NEVER do that again. I'm guessing, but I think I'm right.

I’m really just confused on the whole upside down thing and the bottle being low causing it to fall out of the fridge. Is this some common problem I don’t know about?

Yes. If you put a half empty bottle of ketchup in the fridge on a side shelf, and you open the fridge quickly, the bottle will absolutely fly out.

Holy shite. JML, I respect your posts. And I think you may be right. I love the dude, but maybe I'm overreacting, huh?

Are you aggravated with him for something else?
It could be minor like not cleaning up or taking out the trash but for whatever reason the ketchup bottle just sets you off

I’m not going to say overreacting because it’s your house & you asked him to do something a certain way, imo he should respect that
I’m just thinking it’s maybe more than the ketchup bottle

I know how I am, I’ll ignore bigger stuff & something little will set me off

Not something I would classify as a first world problem. More of a cohabitant dilemma. Who buys glass bottles of ketchup?

Ex of first world problem: my wireless carplay hasn’t been working well after the iOS 14 update, so I have to use a cord like a pleb.

If you have plastic bottles that "burst on the floor", you must be yanking the frick out that fridge door when you open it.

It sounds like you're the problem here.

Nope. It happens. Trust me. Low level of ketchup, open the door normally, plastic bottle falls out. Has happened 5 or 6 times. Only busted once. Hit the tile just right.

First world problems are more like “frick me, I can’t decide which flat hood badge to replace the upright mercedes star with” than something something ketchup. They have Heinz in Guatemala.

Why are you opening your fridge door like a maniac? A gentle pull usually does it. Just buy the plastic bottle that stands on the lid. A first world solution to a first world problem.
