Nola's murder rate is almost 5 times higher than Mexico City.

Edit: I copied the wrong line. Apologies...you’re still retarded. The Mexico City stats are for first quarter only.

You’re retarded. You should get some kind of benefits, or assistance.

quote:

Mexico City has recorded its most violent first four-month period of any year of the past two decades with 382 intentional homicides between January 1 and the end of April.

The figure is 14% higher than the 335 recorded in the same period last year and 24% higher than the murder rate registered in the first four months of 1998, when there were 309 homicides.

quote:

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans could see its lowest murder rate in decades, according to one crime analyst’s opinion. However, another expert says the city still has a long way to go in curbing the violence. According to a tweet and unofficial numbers from crime analyst Jeff Asher, New Orleans is currently on pace for 148 murders in 2018. When you factor in the decline in population, Asher’s projection would give us the lowest rate in over 30 years.

Maybe you should as well considering you are showing stats for an entire COUNTRY.

You do realize there is a difference between Mexico City and Mexico?

Calls someone an idiot and proceeds to confuse a city with an entire country.

That’s next level stupid. Congrats.

Looks like MC had 3 times as many homicides in 4 months than NOLA had so far this year.

Not only did he confuse an entire country for a city, but the numbers he quoted would still give New Orleans - a city of 400,000 - a higher murder rate than Mexico - a county of over 100 million people.

Next level idiot indeed.

When it comes to litter alongside the roads...you have to admit Louisiana is really bad compared to other states.

I lived in Louisiana for 28 years before I left and it was one of the first things I noticed when living in another state.

My family lived in Louisiana all their lives (my dad 68 years) and it was one of the first things they noticed as well when I moved them here after the flood. How much cleaner the streets are compared to Louisiana.

Mexico City is a lot bigger than Nola, like 9 million people.

Without doing any googling and some quick math based on your info: 382 murders in a quarter = 1528, so .0001697 murders per person in a year.

Greater Nola area has about 400,000 people and 157 murders last year: .0003925 murders per person per year.

Eta: i guessed nola's population incorrectly.
