I like the patch.
I think more of a Dessert Storm Type camouflage would be better for the landscape of the moon and Mars. Not much foliage out there.

No - for the military industrial complex to steal another trillion of taxpayer money with NO accountability for where the money goes. Sure billions every year go into Cayman accounts for the bribes to CONgress for their corruption.

At one point the US Army already had an Army Air Force which was functioning just fine then somehow we needed a fifth branch of the military. So we “disbanded” the Army Air Force and called it the US Air Force.

Was that idiotic too?

The Army Air Corps was renamed Army Air Forces in 1941. But I agree with your point 100%.

ETA: The Army Air Forces was disbanded in 1947 and the US Air Force was born.

Really dude? Idiots like you make the rest of us conservatives look bad.

You're right. It was a Hawaiian a-hole who lied to Harvard about being born in Kenya in order to gain an admission advantage.

It's amazing how much bullshite Harvard believes...fake Kenyans and fake Indians.

Apples to oranges if you know the history of the AF and Air Corps.

If you were in the AC, aside from boot camp you had 0 to do with regular Army and the entire corps functioned completely independent from big Army, some airfields weren’t even apart of the previously established army bases. In other words 90+% of the air corps had 0 to do with big Army. It would be like the Marines not getting on a boat anymore and operating independently from the Navy.

However, the space command doesn’t function as it’s own entity. It functions just as any other command under the Air Force be it Air Combat Command, Mobility, Cyber Command etc...if we ever get to the point where we are actually conducting missions/patrols into space on the regular like regular flights now then maybe I can see them breaking off but it makes 0 sense outside of the “zOMGzZ we HAs a SPACe ForCE!!” at its current make up.

I've always wondered that, too. The army aircorp became US Air force.

Eventually (hundreds of years from now) we'll have exploration of deep space. It may be robots but some agency will have to run it.
