CD or vinyl? I don't remember my first CD but the first vinyl album I bought with my own money was Three Dog Night in concert. 1973.

I bought two the day (in 1985) that I brought home my first CD player
Dark Side of the Moon (for me)

Don’t see them mentioned often. First heard of them from another band I follow when he was sitting around jamming to so e of their riffs while wearing their shirt.

Lot of similarities in their styles.

It had come out a few months prior and I already had it on cassette. I got the CD player for Christmas. I went right out the next day to Circuit City and got the cassette adapter for my car and this disc.

What’s odd is I can remember the first album I bought in 1976…



An I can remember the first cassette tape I bought in 1980…




But I honest cannot remember what my first CD was.

Bruce Springsteen Tunnel Of Love.

Funny enough the first album I ever purchased was The River by Bruce Springsteen also.

All the other albums I loved growing up my older brother had bought.
