Hearing a lot of fireworks tonight. Is this now a thing for Juneteenth? I don't live in a majority black community, so just wondering if this is happening around your hoods.

Ummm. Those are gunshots. Peaceful holiday celebrations turn dangerous after sunset.

I live in a wealthy white community so no. No fireworks are set off for Juneteenth.

The city of Lake Charles had a fireworks show downtown for Juneteenth. First time ever I think.
Have to do it again in a few weeks for the 4th. Kind if silly to have fireworks back to back IMO.

There's the promising conspiracy I've been looking for! All of the craziness over the past month has been a plot by Big Fireworks to get another holiday for legally selling and shooting fireworks! Unfortunately, the chinese manufacture most fireworks and they're probably all contaminated with corona.
