Why aren't fireworks widely sold online? Seems to be a way to pay a bit more for the convenience of not ruffling through the fireworks with the rest of the peasant trash...

I was once told that you have to get them through Black cat. There has to be a way to get them directly from China.

Seeing how every fire work is made in China, when do we see a shortage take effect? Year and half from now?

I don’t know, but I would love if anybody had any information about that sketchy firework trailer yard off of Airline on the right side going into Prairieville.. kind of right past all of the dealerships. I need to know what’s going on in there.
We get our NYE fireworks from Louisiana Fireworks over the river, and the guy who helped us last time was a local dealership owner. Maybe Salisbury? Probably not a bad gig for someone who is well off like that. Have a nice large firework business on the side and then whatever you don’t sell you take to your own big NYE party.

There's one in Port Allen next to the porno place. It's built like a bank vault. Around here, they just set up tents around Christmas and July 4th.

My brother in law buys them from China off the internet... I don’t know if it is dark/deep web stuff or not but he gets a crate/pallet full delivered, I’m talking 30 big arse boxes of nearly bombs. Crazy but fun to watch... think he writes them off as work get together though

not sure what the margins are now but, as a kid my parents sold fireworks.
they always just took the cost of an item and doubled it. seems like a decent profit.

Our team did ot 1 yr as a money maker. They make you sign a contract saying someone will be on site at all times.( we slept on the floor) you have to inventory before you open up and again when you finish and close down for good. You have to pack it all up and send it back to company. Not sure what percentage we made BUT Ido know we DiD NOT do it the next year!!

I’ve heard the business is hard to break into. There’s a white trash mafia that includes distributors etc. Not sure how true that is.

Who really knows. I used to want one when was a kid I wanted to own one but wised up.
I let my daughter piss away her $35 that she gathered by collecting all of our pocket change and running it through the coin machine at Brookshires.
It totaled $46 but she got $35 and she was appalled.
I explained the price that's paid for not having to roll the coins and take them to the bank.
Of course most of hers were duds. I also explained that in Lewzianer the humidity gets into the explosives and can render them useless. It's also a crapshoot since what they haven't sold in past seasons is kept for sale next year and there's not getting ones money back for duds.
