Which would be more appropriate for dealing with debris in your yard from your trashy neighbors fireworks, get the blower out at 6:30 am and blow it all in their yard or tell them to come clean it up themselves?

I'll hang up and listen.

Unless your yard looks like Bourbon St. after Mardi Gras just pick up he bottle rocket sticks and don't be a douche bag neighbor.

My neighbors always leave their crap.

I don't care about the firework trash, some of that you dont know where it came from with the wind blowing. So ill help pick all that up.

My issue is with the trash like cans and other carp from their party/friends that is my side yard from their trashy friends not being able to contain their trashy fatass selves.

That carp will end up on the front door step. They have today and then tomorrow morning its going over there.

This is a new one to me. Must be one hell of a bottle rocket to carry a fish through the air.

Most of what my neighbors were firing were more than capable of transporting fish/small mammals several hundred feet. That's the unfortunate thing about being in MS, many people still choose to spend their money on the finer things in life like fireworks and Bud Lite in a bottle instead of quality education for their children, so the circle continues.

First, stop bieng such a Beta. It's time to show the neighborhood who's the top dog, wake them up with a blower as you gather up the trash. Put it in a large pile in their yard, then cover it in Styrofoam and gas, next you Must leave a trail of gas to the street and then light it.

How is he the douche bag neighbor for expecting the neighbors that essentially threw trash into his yard to clean up the mess they caused? Wouldn't it be the other way around...?

Honest question, btw.

Is it just that these are fireworks and therefore people don't expect they are responsible for what falls out of the sky? What if this guy had a party and when it was over he randomly started chucking Dixie cups and paper plates over the fence? Would his neighbors be douche bags for expecting him to come get his shite?

We responded to a few calls yesterday in the master planned community about this very issue. Sadly though illegal, there were still some foolish residents who insisted on putting themselves and their neighbors at serious risk by igniting fireworks on the 4th.

Thankfully their neighbors contacted us and we were able to collect evidence from the debris and match purchase records from a local fireworks stand to their addresses. HOA now has legal.authority to confiscate their home and property thanks to the team effort of the citizens safety group, the sheriffs office and diligent neighbors.

I miss growing up in the country. Everybody had common sense and shot off firecrackers for the 4th and bottle rockets and Roman candles for New Years. You didn't shoot projectiles in July when the hay fields were dry.

You moved into a neighborhood. Maybe you should've considered your interaction with other humans prior to making the move.

I mean, fireworks are technically illegal inside the city limits and all, but I don't have a problem with them if they are expended during reasonable hours and they don't trash my yard up.

Maybe the folks who want to pop illegal fireworks all night and litter their neighbor's yards should have considered their interaction with other humans before making their move?

Of course, I just always assume I'm the only one with good sense and have to lead my neighbors towards the proper behavior.

Typicall, I run my sprinklers several times on the 4th in preparation for the fireworks. Luckily this year, it rained earlier in the day. My neighborhood sounds like Normandy Beach on the 4th and New Years.

When I am done with fireworks, I pick up as much as I can that night and then am always out early the next morning trying to find every last bit of debris, even if it isn't mine.
