No, they'll charge you to come get it and then split it and sell it.

I had a similar situation at my house and kept the wood because I thought someone may want to cut it up for firewood...ended up being damn hard to get rid of.

Wateroaks spend 30 years growing and 30 years dying.

You are asking if there are people, who sell a specific item, would take that item to sell, for free?

I'd say yes.

My neighbor had one that he finally cut down. I was glad to see it go. I have a live oak in the front yard and another in the back. That's enough trees for me.

If you want to haul it, I’ve got somewhere you can dump it.

You need some? I have 4 more oaks I need to fell due to them just dying. All you need to do is come here with your saw, saw up and hual off. You will have to split. These trees are season. Dead for about 6 months. New Roads area.

Absorbs water too much does not make for good with firewood. Better off mulching

Got you. Understand. These are smaller trees that are around 20" chest high. Have all the oak I need for my sawmill and just looking to help someone else. Besides, always looking for a drinking brother.
