yeah, i'll never understand the mindset of a person that stays with a potential catastrophe looming (assuming they have the means to leave).
there's literally nothing you can personally do to hold back mother nature if she sets her sights on you or your property.
add in the prospect of being killed in a fire and i'm outta there with a quickness.

Glad your dad is ok.
My tension is off the charts. I was rousted out by the Valley fire and had 5 minutes to scramble out and went back toward fire to rescue old person with no car.
I now have car packed, minimum optimum.
One highway out now.
Wind from north so the sulphur bank fire now threatens my way out. Risk taker. I am going to dentist appointment. Dont even know if she is able to get in.
I doubt it.
I so dont want to live like a refugee.
I started prayer for rain a few minutes ago.
I have no idea about middle sister. Siblings unable to get to her place, road closures. Not answering texts.
Just adds to the tension. She has expensive livestock and is just the type to be unable to leave them.
Grumble.
