Looks bad for Wal-mart and their management team.
Wal-mart closing the non grocery store exit, requires everyone to wear mask, and their employee not only does not wear a mask also hits a customer calling her out.
The employee if not fired will be fired most likely.

I would not be surprised if they move the assistant and store director to other stores after this screw up.

From her FB

“I AM THE ONE FROM THIS INCIDENT ! we were NOT outside . This WELL OVER 40 (I AM 20 YEARS OLD)white man followed me from the other side of the store calling me a "stupid arse bitch" "n****r" because my mask wasn't ABOVE MY NOSE AND ONLY COVERING MY MOUTH! why did he have to say anything to you ? I asked the man multiple times to please leave me alone and he continued to follow me calling me names in MY PERSONAL SPACE ! I put my items down and asked him to "shut the frick up talking to me" "why are you talking to me" and he proceeded to call me names and I PUNCHED HIM IN HIS NOSE and he put his arm around my neck to choke me but i got loose and associates came and broke it up before it got worse for him . I LOST MY JOB AFTER BEING TOLD "I DID THE RIGHT THING" but the customer is always right huh ? why was he talking to me ? my mask was on , why was he following me ? idk 2 customers & multiple workers wrote statements stating EXACTLY what i said above yet i lost my job due to policy . I WAS PROVOKED AND HARASSED”

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man was injured after being punched by a woman during an argument over a coronavirus mask at a Baton Rouge Walmart.

Paramedics and sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the store on Burbank Drive early Tuesday afternoon.

quote:
Deputies said a woman and man were exiting the store when the man confronted the woman about her not having a mask on.

Once in the parking lot, the woman punched the man in his nose, causing it to bleed, deputies said. Once paramedics arrived on the scene, the man refused treatment. The woman was issued a summons for battery, deputies said

That was quite the plot twist.

The man is the Karen and gets his arse whipped.

So this bitch doesn't follow the rules for whatever reason. The man confronts her about failing to follow the rules. Instead of explaining her position to the man, the woman reacts by punching him in the face.

And you guys think the man was the one in the wrong?

I bet she's got some priors. Hopefully it adds up to a little more jail time.

I'm not going to tell anyone random to wear a mask, but if your company policy is that they must be worn, and I don one to enter then damn right I would say something to an employee who wasn't wearing theirs (properly). Her genius behavior cost her a job.

The bottomline is that you don't raise your voice at anybody who isn't your family member. You don't chase somebody down unless you fully expect him/her to retaliate. I don't give a frick what the situation is. Sure, she may very well have been in the wrong and is lying about wearing a mask. Doesn't matter. Fact is, this dipshit chose to harass her. And I doubt he called her that, and really we don't know how he came at her. But the point is that he came at her. He needs to take this down as a lesson to shut the frick up and go to management next time. Hopefully, Karen was taking notes on this story.

She was an employee at the time and should have called for a manager.
He is about to get some shut up money from Walley World.

I really don't see how her being an employee is relevant. If anything, he should have gone to the manager. She told him to leave her alone (allegedly) and he kept coming at her (allegedly). If that is the story, I think she handled it the right way. She might have lost her shitty Walmart job, but so what. That job sucks anyway.

If she was smart, she'd lawyer up as well. For not providing adequate enough security to protect her from such a thing from happening. Of course, she worked at Walmart so I doubt she could afford to go that route.
