How in the hell could this be true and, even then, why would you admit that? Even on an anonymous internet board. You are the very reason we are in decline.

Make America great again! Go buy a shovel.

Oh I own a shovel .. Actually think I have two .. But I have never used them ... I'm pretty sure my yard guys have used one of them before to kill a snake in the landscaping one time

you never helped your dad in the yard? planted a plant in your life, dug a hole, did anything.

I get being so rich you pay someone to do everything, but come on, never used a shovel.
Have you ever cut grass?

So you just posted to play the cool OT baller role, I gotcha, since we all respect 911moto for it so much.

not if you coat it with a really good coating. Maybe something that makes the dirt slide off really easy.

I agree though, if just painted on they won't last a few days of digging.

to know how deep the hole is, how wide the spacing is between plants, can be used as a yardstick outside.

Mainly to make sure your holes are at the right depth I assume.

Now go grab one of your untouched shovels, dig a hole and fill it back in and have a cold iced tea and relax on your porch. Doesn't it feel good?

A water line needs to be buried x number of inches deep dependent upon location to prevent it from freezing.

or

You find a buried treasure map indicating the treasure is 4' deep below the X. You have a 12 pack of beer in your Yeti cooler. Your beer to depth ratio is 1 beer every 4 inches.

I suspect a production version would need to have the ruler stamped into the blade.

Seems a bit overkill. I just make a sharpie mark on my post hole diggers to what depth I need. I like that better than trying to look at a ruler.
