I have day dream fantasies about not having to pay for food or daycare all the time by getting an "on paper" divorce, which would put my wife and 2 kids well below the poverty level on her income.
Then I remember that I have dignity and self respect, it all snaps into focus, and I get back to work.

I had this mindset throughout my 20's. Now in my 30's and after finding the right girl, I'm engaged!
It takes time, my advice to kids fresh out of college is to dump your college gf if you have one and go stag for a few years.

Who wants to get married and then get half your shite and kids taken in a biased court system.
Not married yet, but it took quite a few women before i found one that i didnt think would be a psycho.. finally contemplating it after 5 years.

One of the obvious points not everyone talks about is the sexual liberation movement. Women might have thought it was mostly about their sexual freedom but the ability of men to have choices RE sexual partners without either marriage or pregnancy removes the previous responsibilities men had to assume.
That, combined with the family court system, means you've reduced male incentives and male responsibilities necessary to have sex while also increasing the possibility of being financially ruined by a vengeful ex.

Damn nurse I'm willing to take on additional women.
Only in theory though, baw. It's impossible to please a woman. It's useless to even try. So, the Quixotic challenge of 2 or more women, not only doubles this particular frustration, but now you have to manage (or at least deal with the fallout from) all the catty, dysfunctional female relationships within the harem as well.

No way I'd want to try. Trying to keep one happy is a full time job.

Men are wising up to gold diggers and a court system that screws the man every time.

I'm a female breadwinner and the only thing that scares me is this. I sympathize with this sentiment and wonder why it can't be you leave with what you came with. I think that's one hundred percent fair. The only time the other should get some of your earnings is when they helped you build yourself to where you are, in essence they helped you in some way more up in life. Not sure how the court system would measure that though.

It has been reported that something like 50% of marriages end in divorce. If I gave you a parachute and told you to jump out of a plane, but there's only a 50% chance it would open...what would you do?

You'd rather your daughter be with some good old 'baw who will marry her, spray in them guts and have her pump out a couple of children like Jesus wants rather than an educated, modern man who will take care of and respect her.
That's a ridiculous view of reality.

I'm just having fun but I know a French guy who has a real harem. He has his first wife and three girlfriends living in his family home back in France and he stays with his current wife here in Cameroon.

I wouldn't mind getting married, but the problem is finding a decent woman that doesn't want kids. The last thing I ever want is to have a kid. Every person I get close to wants a few kids, and there's no point pursuing the relationship any further from there.

I have $5106 reasons every month not to get married again and we had no kids. Don't get divorced in Colorado.
