For 20 years NAFTA and the chamber of commerce has exported our manufacturing under the guise of “we’ve evolved further in our economy and those jobs are beneath us”

because they are shipping as fast as they are making them and not bothering to count them
now a dimrat politician would know exactly how may because they would have counted and recounted them and stocked them in inventory to take photo opts with rather then worry about how fast they get to where they are needed
trump is making sure all the political BS red tape and grandstanding is done away with so it goes straight from manufacture to where its needed without bean counters slowing everything down trying to count it

I'll let you in on a little emergency operations secret. A lot of the numbers reported up the chain are educated guesses. Jindal would talk fast and rattle off numbers; they weren't accurate numbers.

I’ll agree and disagree. They should have had more, but there is just no practical way to keep the kind of stock needed for this type of event on hand. Where do you put it, and how do you manage to keep rotating the stock before it expires?

This is where American ingenuity comes in. There are engineers working right now on a more serviceable unit. It will last for a long time and be cheaper.
