Crazy frick had absolutely nothing to lose. He had already “seen God” on the way down from that record jump. He probably got the thumbs up from “the man” so he figured “WTF, I’m all good now”. But God probably. doesn’t like when you push the envelope too far into the FAFO zone. Even a cat only has 9 lives.

Damn, that's terrible. I remember watching him make that jump live on discovery (IIRC) with my pops and thinking how awesome it was he was able to do that. Watching the documentary with the behind the scenes stuff was pretty cool as well. An amazing feat, for sure.
