I think that is probably coming. The DA knows they will walk unless he can bring credible charges. They are going to have damn good attorneys so this isn't a cakewalk.

Sad to say but nothing will happen. Every politician Is terrified of actually committing to doing what’s needed. Ain’t going to happen.

Have to agree. All talk. That's pretty much why city and county LEO's have been given so much in terms of responsibility and in most cases military like aupplies/vehicles etc. The guys in power let the common police do the dirty work.

The joke's on you. This isn't about placing a demand and once the demand is met, they stop. This is about every few years something happens, and this crowd sees it as a grand opportunity to go buck wild for a few days.

Nope. Let these cities burn to the ground. This is a local issue and these cities should be prepared to deal with civil unrest.

You could say the same thing about police brutality.

It's really sad. These days instead of hiring cops based on how good they are at doing cop stuff, like going high speeds in traffic, shooting people, and writing tickets, they just hire whoever is most racist

The two things are not equivalent. When all police, in general, act as a class like the officer charged most of the time, maybe we can talk.

Stealing, arson, violence are criminal acts being justified by an aberration. White police in the line of duty kill more white guys than black guys.

I say let them burn their shithole down, then make them live in it. No rebuilding, no aid. Let them figure it out after that...

Will be the toughest lesson...but needs to happen...

There are basic tenets of civilized culture and laws in America which must be upheld. Giving into the mob mentality and letting criminals get away with whatever they want under the guise of “justified anger” is not acceptable.

This should be the view of every rational human.

Nope.

Democrat majority, Democrat mayor, Democrat police chief, Democrat sheriff.

Good luck with your decisions.

No aid. No help afterwards. You burned it down. You can rebuild it.

Nothing. That's opportunism and nothing else. Those people doing that probably don't even know the victim's name. They were pieces of shite before this happened and will still be after it's over.

This is what happens when young teenage girls are encouraged to have babies because the government will support them and be the surrogate daddy.

That would be illegal with the exception of the national guard directed by that states governor, not the feds. I'm not for surrendering more rights/control to the federal government.

Could help but I'm not certain that doesn't play into certain groups agenda for an election year. Could that be part of why this wasn't addressed until it got totally out of hand?

Not sure but the right answer might be to just let the individual states handle it as they see fit and deal with politicians accordingly come November.

Feel for people in the middle of this no win scenario.
