That's in the middle of neighborhood, behind Oaklawn MIddle. Had a few friends who grew up back there. I don't know what it being on the Eastside has to do with getting wrecked into by an intoxicated driver who's probably not even from around here?

Not saying it’s ISIS but how would we know?

I'm fairly confident a random front porch on the East Side of Houma isn't on ISIS' hit list.

Friend of mine was riding his motorcycle in a small town around here and a FedEx truck hit him. He was in pretty bad shape -- they just settled almost 3 years later. I'm guessing that they got a pretty penny.

Fortunately for him now he's good .. almost normal just walks slower but to look at him you'd never know.

So FedEx doesn't drug test anymore?

If it's Ground, it's the local indy company. Anything else (Freight, Express, Critical Care, etc), it's FedEx.

Typically, red and blue trucks are FedEx, Fedex Ground Home Delivery is usually blue and green.

But I have seen Fedex trucks that operate red and blue trucks as "independently operated as XYZ Enterprises." A different angle that WWLTV showed is a Red and Blue and Ground truck and some lettering on the passenger side by the door that notes who is owns the route sperate from FedEx.

From my experience, Fedex Ground packages will bypass the Houma FedEx depot and come straight from the St. Rose facility.

Doing a deeper dive into Fedex, Fedex delivery drivers are paid barely minimum wage, 120 dollars a day. Here is an ad for one back in December:

There was absolutely nothing that FedEx driver could do to remedy the situation once he busted through that poor family's living room. But, at the very least, the driver could have lightened the situation by yelling out of his truck window, "Walk this way! Talk this way!"
