Ah, yes, the weekly circle jerk where the Millennials complain about everything.
You all sound like a bunch of entitled wimps.

We baby boomers had to endure something that I would not wish on any generation - military draft and being sent to a foreign war where we did not try to win it. We are also the ones who popularized higher college degrees as a means of keeping a student deferment to avoid the draft.
Intellectually, we can do math in our heads and we know how to get places without a cell phone. Millennials are incapable of functioning without their cell phone.
As for me, I am 66, a CPA working as a controller for a small company and I just moved us into a new accounting software package. Computers are not a problem for me.
The knees may need replacing soon but i intend to work until 70. At which time, I intend to be a drain on the budget and to suck up every benefit possible as I know I have earned it.

baby boomers left me with a 10% unemployment rate, fighting two wars, Bruce Jenner, insane health care costs, student debt and a Great Recession and housin collapse. Uncle Sam wishes he would have pulled out instead of spawning baby boomers.
Poor, sad little Millennial, finding out life is tough, that no one is going to give him anything.
Pull up your britches, spit out your pacifier, get off your arse and get to work.

Had you not been forced, you could have earned a much better return investing that money in index funds.
As the son of two boomers, I pay the same taxes and I already have more in my retirement savings than both combined. Boomers didn't save. I'm all for personal responsibility, but boomers were definitely not.
