Ya I can't get down with that here.
We should be moving on like normal.
We're already on very shaky ground with our COVID response already when it comes to our liberties. Asking for more rules just to live a normal like like you did in 2019 is not going to end well.

I know. It is demoralizing and I'm starting to enter the chat that it's designed to be. As opposed to people just being power hungry and dumb.

A two tiered system based on masking or social distancing is dumb because it’s not enforceable and pits regular people against each other int be grocery store.
What would be enforceable is requiring proof of vaccination in order to participate in federally supported programs. For example, proof of vaccination could be added to the FAFSA application for anyone seeking a federal student loan or added as part of a bank’s KYC information if you want to open a deposit account at an FDIC insured bank.
That won’t happen but that is how you goose vaccination rates.

From an enforceability standpoint I don’t see how Macron’s thing will necessarily work either, but it will give a swift kick in the pants for anyone who doesn’t feel too strongly about the vaccine but has just been on the sidelines.
The vaccine mandates at Houston Methodist and some other hospitals (for staff) is obviously much more enforceable but limited in scope.
