Heavy handed regulation is almost universally supported by extremely large corporations - it's better for them to have the government stamp out their competition than compete with them in a free market.

Whole lotta nothing in that paragraph. How did repealing NN help small businesses compete against these giant tech companies?

Heavy handed regulation almost always benefits the big players.

NN was a classic case of regulation to protect the interests of BigTech.

Do you understand what Net Neutrality is?

You're lighting the candle from the wrong end.

I’m not saying that the absence of NN helps/hurts small businesses, I’m saying that NN helps the big business prevent competition.

The absence of it is a more free market. If the small guys can’t compete in a free market then c’est la vie. But a controlled market is almost always better for the big guys because they can dictate how it’s controlled.

It’s a policy that people making fun of NPCs daily went full lockstep with trump on because Obama bad.

The “big Corp” crap is hilarious considering big boys like Verizon wanted this repeal.

Typical low information type. If you disagree, you're just ignorant!!

BigTech is worried about losing advertising dollars. Nothing more. The major advertising revenue generators support NN.

Let's say local providers put a surcharge on the biggest content providers, who will that affect?

Verizon is a service provider. Facebook is a content provider. You should know the difference.

Wtf? Title II is a huge part of the problem, regulating as a utility.

Just remember the fearmongers that posted on here about it. Then factor that in to other opinions they give in the future

What vote?

The only vote classified the internet as a common carrier which is a huge "benefit" to the power hungry in government. They dont have the support to overturn the repeal
