Not very good at what? I just said I bought a gun without a background check from a guy with a booth at a gun show. Just an anecdote, bro.

So your policies to reduce the number of mass shootings is to limit the freedom of speech and freedom of religion?

And your policy to limit the right to bear arms is different how?

Not really anything of note.

Depending on when you went to bed they did release the correct names of the 2 shooters. The earlier Facebook pics were the guys brother.

No pics of female other than dead by the SUV.

as opposed to your desire to limit the freedom to keep and bear arms? it's a right in our constitution, too

Or it means that state militias have the right. That is how courts interpreted it for over a hundred years.

I am not saying that I agree or disagree with that interpretation but you can not deny that historical fact. It is somewhat recently that the "individual" interpretation of the amendment has gained wide acceptance.

I am ignorant to this but how does gun control affect those citizens who have every right to purchase guns?

The same way it affected the tax exempt status of groups that the federal govt deemed too Republican/Conservative. They were targeting people that opposed their political viewpoints... and they would use gun control to do the same fricking thing.

Thanks. I read every post for 112 pages before going to bed. The OT had the name hours before it was released. Amazing.

So um I left this party shortly after they pulled out the chick from the car, and this thread grew by 70+ pages since I was last here. Couple questions:

1)Is there video of this whole thing? It sounds like a wild ride.

2)Was there a 3rd shooter? Was he detained/killed?

3)Do we know their identifies besides the Farouk guy? I heard on NPR that the wife and husband were of Pakistani origin, and probably Muslims (shocker, I know).

4)Has someone put together a timeline of events?

5)Any guess as to the motive? What about nonshooting accomplices?

Any info is appreciated.

But there is gun control. As much as I'd like to get a silenced MP5 with the Navy trigger group from Bass Pro, I can't do that. Because gun control.

Weird. I've never been able to buy a gun at a gun show without showing (and verifying) my ccl or running a bg check.

What gun show was this?

So we should accept your interpretation, over the Supreme Court's? And you find this to be a reasonable argument?

How many states still have militias? Why do you think that trend has faded away? Maybe because the govt doesn't want any groups out there to have the ability to oppose them.

So, you're saying that a "Bill of Rights" protects the right of government agents to have guns?

Really?

You can't get it from BP because they don't sell it there. You can, however, purchase it via the proper channels because, you know, gun control and shite.

The OT also disseminated the incorrect names/pics of the female and the wrong pics of the male (with the help of Daily Beast).

Early is not always correct.
