I think the sleeper cell stuff is a big stretch. These people are not that well organized. Russian airliner they took down was supposedly wrong target. These bastatds had pipe bombs all over they didn't go off. Most likely radicalized on internet.
And for the gun debate, they did use legally purchased guns. That is a problem. And as far as the left vs right part, it's important to note; both sides condemn violence of all terrorists, domestic and other wise, but a large segment of one side stereotypes a whole race/religion that IS condemning these acts.
And yes, I'm about ready for scorched Earth, But that's what they want. And I don't know how useful physical tactics alone, are in an ideological war. Have a to find a balanced multi-layered attack.

meh, it's still a celebration and initiated to attract followers and take away from their paganism.. symbolism is not the same thing as idol worship either.. which a lot of christmas elements are simply symbols for meaning. check out Saving Christmas. very interesting take, even if you don't agree with it. i choose to enjoy the season myself.

If the gun was purchased legally in Cali, it had to be one of the handguns. California has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. I have a 19-round Springfield XDM that is not allowed in that state at all because it's considered an "assault weapon".
