Hes actually just well traveled.

Wyoming is the only state we've visited that my wife contemplated moving to.

For me, SC and AZ are neck and neck.

When we moved to Idaho we drove through Utah at the break of fall and the mountains when you come in from the east before SLC were the most beautiful natural scenery on which I've ever laid my eyes.

I liked Boise more than SLC, but Utah is the best state in the country, IMO.

Utah

Beautiful, clean, friendly people
Clean people there generally seconded.

Beautiful is a bit more subjective but I’ll allow it as I am generally aesthetically partial to Scandinavian women.

Michigan is massively underrated. Detroit and Flint are shitholes, but the west coast, Northern Michigan, and the Upper Peninsula are beautiful parts of the country.
The Traverse City / Interlochen area is amazing during the summer

Colorado or eastern Tennessee (smoky mountains)

I’m sure if I’d ever been to Montana, Wyoming, or other northern states with open spaces and mountains I’d have different opinions

Gotta be Montana or Wyoming. Absolutely beautiful and not overpopulated (yet)
