My favorite character is Luke Skywalker, but probably not for the reasons you'd think.
If LS's character hadn't been so convincingly conceived and written, the franchise would have been toast from the start. Because Mark Hamill was the most god-awful actor of any movie star from his era. Don't believe it? Check out his filmography and subtract the original trilogy (LINK Yikes. Given how famous he was, what a shite show of a career.
