Ok, Thanks. It surprised me when I heard that and wasn't certain if it was good info. I knew Charlie's boys growing up and remember they were pretty involved with the operation. Another part of old BTR going away and making room for something new.

Also...

Anyone remember the food cart that would park at the corner er of 3rd & Florida a few years ago before Cane's opened?

I'd give my pinky finger for one of those homemade tamale pies at 2 in the morning again.

Gibson's in NBR. I think it was on Evangeline or Winbourne back when you weren't risking your life to go there. Great burgers and tots

My first ever job was at a Rax.. i was 14, too young to run the roast beef slicer (had to be 15).. used to make out with this girl in the freezer; woulda gotten farther with her but it was pretty cold in there.

You miss Po Folks?

I think there is still a Shoney's in Clinton

Are there no more Western Sizzlin' in Jxn?

Where was Gatti's?

Went to Dennery's maybe twice -- remember LeFleur's?

Is Crechale's still open? Never went there.

Remember The Green Derby? I think we went there perhaps three times, on very important occasions, like relatives visiting from Atlanta
