I remember those in the 70's, they were awesome. However, the music really sucked...

Something like this.

A rubber band wind up car out of Fruity Pebbles in the 70's.

Top 25...

I remember getting this, awesome...

Kellogg's Baking Powder Submarine

You probably didn't understand the difference between baking soda and baking powder if you couldn't get this thing to work, but you were just a kid. Blame your mom. Kudos to you if you were able to snag the buoyant Navy Frogmen to create an entire military operation using just the free prizes in your cereal.

I forgot about those little subs.

I still have my TMNT bowls. My daughter eats out of them with my old light up lightsaber spoons I got from another cereal.

Early 1970s King vitamin. My brother cut out back panels and sent them in for a giant fricking cardboard castle with plastic action figures and a working catapult.

Nothing will beat that.

I used to love this flavorless crap for some odd reason.

Years ago there was a Capn Crunch cereal prize that was a whistle which happened to allow access to the telephone system.

I recently read about Phone Phreaking back in the analog days. The idea was that if you picked up any pay phone and whistled the right tones into the phone, you'd connect to the phone company's operations system. You suddenly had the ability to make free calls anywhere in the world for as long as you liked. The Capn Crunch whistle had the exact tone that unlocked the phone system.

You could do all kinds of stuff with it. You could walk by a bank of pay phones and disconnect everyone talking on it. There are a couple of documentaries out there about it. Some funny shite they pulled off back then. One dude I think even used it to call the president.

We got some kind of blue slime / goop stuff once. You could play with it like play dough or silly putty, but it also stuck to walls & would kind of roll/flip down them, presumably without mess.

Took it to church the Sunday we pulled it from the cereal box, and in Sunday school, after having success with throwing it against the wall, someone tossed it straight up at the ceiling, where it clung tight. Few minutes later it falls, but leaves a blue blob the size of an egg on the ceiling.

Every time I go back to my little hometown & go to church, I see that stain. 30+ years and it's still bright blue.
