always been a fan of the MP5. I was able to shoot a full auto one at a gun range in Atlanta we went to for a bachelor party. Ammo gets expensive quick at full auto.
Also shot a full auto Vector 45
Ak47, tommy gun and m16 that day as well

I always get sniper rifled by some little 12 yr old puke.
I shoot him like 10 times with the AK47, AND NOTHING.

5 of us went and 4 of us split the bill. Each person paid around 350 bucks for an hour of shooting. I asked if they had a full auto .22 LR had to settle for the M-16. Owner was feeding us magazines after magazines. Pretty sure we made his payroll for the week.

A buddy has a Tavor and while I like the ergo on it, the controls are a mystery to me. I don’t fire it enough so when I look for either the bolt lock/release I’m kind of in the dark. Seems like it would be excellent for corners in CQB.
I REALLY DISLIKE the P90. Ergo for me sucks and it is just .... weird.
UZI full auto is fun except for the frequent need to work the bolt. Seems to be a thing for Uzi. I will say it’s very compliant since it’s spitting 9mm.
FN FAL. Heavier than I had expected, throws a big round and the shooter really needs to lean in when shooting with a quick tempo.
Lee Enfield. Smoothest action I’ve ever fired, and the thing weighs a ton so there is minimal kick despite a big round. fricking tack driver.
I’ve held an Arisaka but regrettably was unable to fire. It even had an unblemished chrysanthinum.
M1 Garand. A joy to shoot; the sighting is wonderful, the feel is wonderful, the weight seems perfect for what it does. And that PING. Music to your ears.
Pistol:
I have shot a bunch and I finally fired a Luger and I’ve got to say the sights sucked and the ergo was funky to me. I’m glad I fired it but I would call that a hard pass.

I’ve been close to getting the tavor for a while, but I’m not sure I want to learn another platform and none of the parts are interchangable with what I already have, so it’s not practical.
My brother got a p90. I shot it and it’s interesting. That caliber is intriguing for multiple reasons. I wouldn’t want to have to clear a jam in that thing, though. He had just bought it and was trying to explain it to me, but anything more than tap, rack, bang is too much for me to remember when the adrenaline is pumping.

I need to check out Carson's stuff. I've seen a couple of pictures. I'm thinking about doing a custom build for a semi-auto MP5 variant.

Shot a Tavor a couple of years ago. I think I like the look and general feel of it more than I liked firing it. Still enjoyed it though. It was semi-auto so I can't speak to the full. There's also a 9mm conversion kit that's available through IWI that I'd like to try.

ATF. Fill out paper work. Have to buy the gun first.

STG-44
W/O it being created, there would be no AK lines of guns. Russian gun creator stole the stg-44, and changed a few things to create the AK. He absolutely loved this gun, but as in Russian/Asian style, why create ur own, just steal 90% of something and call it ur own.

I've considered it. I consider it every time I look at a semi-auto variant of the MP5 or AUG.
I like those models and I think I'd like them in full-auto, but I don't think I like them for $20k+.
