Do any of you have experience with faux ss?

The stuff that is like wallpaper for appliances.

I have an old stove that I love and I don’t want to replace it. It’s my favorite stove of all time and the oven cooks perfectly. When a pizza says 17 minutes, I’ll be damned if this oven doesn’t have it perfect at 17 minutes. The stovetop burners put out a shite ton of btu and can boil large pots of water.

Kitchen remodel will have all ss appliances but I want to keep the stove.

I know I’ve come to the right place for answers on this.

If you really want to be unique, dip that fricker in Rhino Liner.

I don’t see any way this couldn’t end up looking 100% OT Trashy.

read the reviews on that amazon link and i think you have your answer. can't imagine you'll be able to wrap around corners with it looking any good.

I don't know about the wallpaper stuff, but apartment complexes use Thomas' liquid steel(or maybe liquid stainless steel). It's painted on and holds up pretty good.

Never used it but I'm sure the surface you put it on has to be super clean and smooth. Every speck will transfer through and look like shite.

Faux SS is gonna look like crap.

Why not just paint it with high-temp paint?

Obviously, by a pro.

Wouldn't touch that stuff...seams will be noticeable and the seams will look like shite in a few months time.

Just paint it a color that meshes well with the decor.
