Yep. They'll do nothing to him. What he is and has been hasn't been a secret to DC, yet he's been a major part of how many administrations now? During his career he was a useful tool to them all. As far as I’m aware, I don’t know anyone who has gotten West Nile. Sure some people get it. It would raise an eyebrow if you found out someone you knew got West Nile, especially if he was a well known virologist doing research on them.

Had a relative die from West Nile in central LA a few yrs back. Its still a threat.especially if you have other health conditions.
