Not nearly as much as the sheep that blindly believe and defend them at every turn. Their “expertise” has been the stated reasoning for literally everything the actual decision makers have implemented. They have been absolute, unmitigated failures throughout the entire process.

A virologist and epidemiologist who spends their entire life in that science will say "stay away from people, dont gather" in terms of how to stop the spread of a virus. Thats common sense

The elected politicians job is to say "ok, but that isnt how society works. We will let the people know the risk and life will carry on"

Fauci has been in this position for decades. Where was he giving tv interviews, throwing out first pitches, doing magazine photoshoots, etc. during swine flu? Why isn’t he very publicly saying stay away from people, dont gather" during flu season every year?

Fauci was following and echoing the most popular medical and scientific opinions, he wasnt really coming up with the shite on his own

No, I’m acting like this entire ordeal has demonstrated that “experts” are full of shite and “science” is not the definitive end all be all it was prior to March 2020.

Fauci was also happy to against the actual data when it was coming out definitively refuting his positions. See his exchange with rand Paul about reopening schools, or his claims about masks being needed into 2022.
