Of course. And then, make shite up and whine about muh fake news when they tell they're buddy about it later over 14 Keystones.

Lagging indicator such as death will allow the cfr to continue to fall. As well as increased testing that continues to find more negatives than positives.
The IFR is what the IFR is. The virus isn't changing that much to cause a major shift assuming infections occur across the entire population.
I never claimed the virus was changing.
I simply refuted your claim that the death rate being a lagging indicator was a reason for anything. Check back in 2-3 weeks from now and you will continue to see the death rate fall as "cases" increase.
We'll never know the true CFR unless every single person is tested which is impossible.
The virus doesn't care how many people we test, or don't. And really many hospitals quit testing as it doesn't change the course of care.
Continuing to try and have the bulk of our healthy population "hide" from this highly contagious airborne virus only delays the inevitable. We all get exposed sooner or later.

Because you're a racist.

This guy is what I've heard referred to as a "seagull".
"Seagulls" are those folks who just shite on everything. Never offer up any solution. Just shite on stuff, while flying around aimlessly.
We've all got idiots like that at work. Sometimes, for whatever unknown reason become supervisor.
Fauci to a T!

Because it is a lagging indicator
How much does it lag? Florida’s cases started to ramp up on about June 12; it’s July 3rd. Texas also started to ramp up in cases about June 12; it is also July 3rd in Texas.
Texas might be seeing a slight increase in deaths. I expected it to be much worse by now.

only one death in my county.
75 cases.
2/3rds young adults.
40 are farm laborers who just got it.
it first got here by repeated trips out of county for work. supposedly not permitted.
not having laws on the books to fine big or jail repeats really made it a doomed endevor to control it.
after tracking all the cases there are a few mysteries. community spread now. i see the farm workers and contractors.
no masks. bs-ing in groups.

He’s going to give the worst case scenario.
It’s up to leaders to judge risk and make the decision.
Don’t be mad at him, he’s going to give the most conservative recommendation from a medical standpoint.
Go to bed, Fauci; and don't forget to take your meds.
