I have all boys so i guess peeing on the side of the road is out of the question. Our Y has a posted sign that dad's can only take their daughter through the men's locker room if she's under 5.
Watch out for this guy if you do take your daughters to the women's room.

Once I let my daughter go in the public bathroom at the beach while I waited outside. She was in there forever and when she came out she said she couldn't get the lock to work after she locked herself in the stall. She crawled out across the nasty public bathroom floor. She got vomiting ill that night.

You definitely don’t take a 4-year-old girl into the men’s room. If there’s a family restroom, obviously use that. Otherwise, I’d have her go into the women’s room and just ask a mom nearby to keep an eye on her while you wait outside. Moms understand, we’ve all been there and watch out for other kids.

my wife got hung up in the bag check line in Tiger Stadium the first time we took my kid to a game.
Of course, she was just potty trained. The second she and i got inside, she had to pee.
long story short, she has seen the inside of a Tiger Stadium men's room.

Yes, and stand outside. He also doesn't go to the woman's restroom. What exactly are you trying to fight about. I offered advice to someone asking a legit question.
