Medically, yes. For instance insurance goes up if you're a smoker. The problem is being medically overweight you are much more susceptible to health complications; diseases and the biggest, most common high blood pressure, diabetes. You can't lie to the doctor about your weight. Fat people make the cost of insurance go up.

Um no - I would assume people with kids spend a lot more money than the average single kid-less person
I know a child-less married couple that spends more than my family does but they are extreme
It should be you have to make a certain amount before you get a tax credit for your kid(s) - not get a tax credit even if you don’t barely pay taxes

So I should bear a higher tax burden to pay because I spend less and that money gets used to pay for schools and infrastructure for your children?
Just like I shouldn’t bear a higher insurance and tax burden for people who chose to be fat bastards, smoke, do meth, etc. I shouldn’t have to pay extra while others get reductions for the choices they make.
