As a child I always remembered these kids being very big. Now looking back these kids are barely overweight by today’s standards. Our species has completely evolved in 30 to 40 years. I’m curious what will be the new norm 30 to 40 years from today.

Watch Jaws for average 70s size.

Breakfast club, sixteen candles etc for 80s size.

What we thought was fat then isn't even average now.

Nowadays it’s normal to be cut out of your house and rescued via crane.

Honestly, most adults wish they were only 10 to 15lbs overweight.

Recently saw my HS Senior class photo again and few of the kids we thought were fat, would be considered fat today.

John Stamos losing his wife to the fat kid from Stand by Me is still funny.

Oldmanbeasley has already solved this obesity problem, but our backwards government refuses to read their emails.

Heavyweights had a few pretty big kids. That movie was pretty awesome considering how goofy the plot was

Ironic that Disney told us what society would look like down the road. When I picture the real life version of this, I think of these quarter tons of fun carting their asses around disney world.

As a fat kid, I never understood why the kids in that movie:

#1 ate so much candy, I never ate that crap.

#2 were out of breath from the tiniest amount of exercise.

My paw paw told me in 6th grade "if you gonna weigh what I do, you need to be able to work"

Not pc by any means, but it was made clear, you eat like a grown man, you work like a grown man. Made my buddies and I fricking units for JV football

In the 80/90s, there was one fat kid in the entire grade. Now there’s multiple very obese kids in all the classes. I’ve never seen so many fat kids
